Larry Clark's Tulsa:
After looking into Larry Clark's 'Tulsa' series, I was inspired to go through my archives of personal photography of these black and white photos, which I have been taking for the last two years or so. In his style, I wanted to leave them uncensored, but contrasting 'Tulsa', they are not supposed to be shocking or depict the damaging behaviour that his series does. My photos are simply teenagers enjoying themselves and forming lifelong friendships, and this positive spin on youth is a theme I think is worth pursuing.
